- 1 / 5By Sue PalmerMy husband and I went to Thelma's this evening, found a table and sat there for 15 minutes while every waitress walked by (and avoided eye contact). I finally got up and found a couple menus thinking maybe we would be noticed. But no. We were blatantly ignored. We finally walked out. There were several customers walking toward the building when we were leaving and we told them to enter with caution and wished them good luck getting someone to serve them. They turned around and left, too. Thelmas lost us as a $30-40 customer, and the other potential customers. Shame on you Thelmas. Not a nice way to treat people. :(August 06, 2016
